Q. I have certifications from multiple providers; can I combine all my credentials into one transcript?
Microsoft has worked with the IT Certification Council (ITCC), along with other industry certification providers, to provide MCPs with the opportunity to create one transcript across providers. Under the Transcript section of the benefits and exams dashboard, click Create a multi-vendor transcript. You will then be asked to provide your transcript sharing codes. The transcript sharing code can be found by clicking Share your transcript.
Q. What if I cannot print or access my transcript?
If you cannot print or access your transcript, contact your Microsoft Regional Service Centre.
To ensure a prompt response:
Use the email address associated with your Microsoft Certification ID (MC ID), if possible.
Have your Microsoft Certification ID number available.
If you do not know your Microsoft Certification ID, have other information available, such as your address, telephone number, exam numbers and completion dates.
Q. I viewed my transcript but it is missing data. Why can't I see all my data?
It can take up to two weeks for Microsoft to receive and process your exam records. If it has been more than two weeks since you took your exam, and the results still do not appear on your transcript, or if you notice any other problems, contact your Microsoft Regional Service Centre.

Microsoft Debuts Virtualized Windows Exam If you're thinking that Exam ">83-640 TS: Windows Server 2008, Active Directory, sounds familiar, you'd be right. Exam ">83-640 is the virtualized version of Exam 70-640 TS: Windows Server 2008, Active Directory. Microsoft officially released the exam this week, to coincide with numerous announcements being made at this week's Microsoft Tech-Ed Conference in Los Angeles.
According to a press release, Exam ">83-640 is "the first to incorporate a virtual environment with the tools and options available in a real computing environment." The exam itself incorporates multiple choice items and virtualized, performance-based questions in which test takers must perform tasks as if working on a real server. The exam objectives state that the exam maps directly with the same objectives as 70-640. Although it's available mostly worldwide, it's delivered in English only.
When Exam ">83-640 was in development, a pilot test version was released to testers as 70-113 TS back in July 2008. (To read the original news on 70-113, go here; a review of the pilot version of this exam is available here.)

Trying to Register for ">83-640? Read This!

Have you been trying to register for ">83-640? Had some problems? You’re not alone. Unfortunately, we are experiencing some problems with the registration process for this exam and are working fast and furious to correct them. Here’s what we know:
· The problems are intermittent, meaning some people can register successfully while others cannot.
· The problems seem to be tied to peak registration periods, which vary from day to day, meaning that if you happen to try to register during one of these peak periods, you’re more likely to encounter problems.
· Tests indicate that if you’re scheduling an exam more than 3 months from now, you are less likely to encounter problems; you are more likely to encounter problems when scheduling exams 3 days to 3 months from now. Of course, as I said, the problems are intermittent and unpredictable, so no guarantees based on these results, but this may help from a planning perspective.
What should you do if you experience problems with registration?
If you are unable to schedule to take this exam, please contact Prometric customer service for the latest status and resolution of the issue. Beginning Monday, May 10, if the problem hasn’t been resolved, when you contact Prometric, they will ask for your name and email address and will contact you directly once the issue has been resolved.
Remember the problems are intermittent…If you can handle the possible frustration, you can also continue trying to register…you could be one of the lucky ones. I will post updates to Born to Learn as they become available. You can also contact mslcdmicrosoftm if you would like to be notified by me when the problem has been resolved.
Alas, the roll-out of any innovative exam delivery platform, such as this one, isn’t always unicorns and ponies. We will run into glitches along the way.
