New Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services 5 Exam
Sun Microsystems recently released the exam for Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services 5 (exam CX 310 230). The exam consists of 69 multiple choice and drag and drop questions, contains 69 questions, and has a passing score of 68% (47 correct answers) and a time limit of 150 minutes. A full list of objectives can be found on the Sun Web site. The previous exam was for the Java 2, Enterprise Edition platform (exam CX 310 220), and is still available to certification candidates. Oracle University will be launching its new PeopleSoft Enterprise 9 Financial Management, General Ledger Certified Consultant (OCE) credential. ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ at Beyond Fest, tribute to ‘A Star is Born’ among Los Angeles area special movie screenings

Fans of the horror genre will get an eyeful at Beyond Fest’s lineup of gory, grisly and scary movies showing Sept. 25-Oct. 4 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
The film festival includes the American slasher “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,” which celebrates its 40th anniversary, just in time to get you in the mood for Halloween. The movie stars Marilyn Burns, Paul A. Partain, Edwin Neal, Jim Siedow and Gunnar Hansen as a group of friends who fall victim to a family of cannibals. While the movie’s plot is entirely fictional, many horrific events in the movie were inspired by real-life murderer Ed Gein.

Or, if you’re the skittish type, American Cinematheque offers a 60th anniversary tribute to “A Star is Born” and Judy Garland on Sept. 26 at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica.
Garland stars as a struggling singer who gets a big break in the movies thanks to the help of James Mason, portraying an alcoholic movie star whose career is on the skids.
The 1954 musical was nominated for six Academy Awards including Garland and Mason for best actors and best original song, “The Man That Got Away.”
The musical was a remake of the 1937 movie starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. The romantic drama was remade in 1976 with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand and a 2013 Bollywood version, “Aashiqui 2,” with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
